Norm Vesala purchased Westmount Store Fixtures in 1999 and has grown the business  ever since.  He is a strong believer in building the local economy and business in Edmonton; after all, it is Norm’s home town.  Norm works within the community through numerous groups and charities.  One of Norm’s longest standing memberships has been in his 20 years of Toastmasters – including numerous awards and executive positions.  Norm is incredibly proud of how large Westmount has become, specifically with the increased the number of staff and expanding to a new warehouse/building.  When Norm isn’t in the office, he loves going to anywhere warm. Hawaii is his go-to destination!

Annette Vesala is a highly disciplined, self-motivated individual who improves inefficiences with her unmatched attention to detail. After +20 years of office experience on top of the hard work of raising her three beautiful daughters, Annette embraced the challenges of being a business owner and managing the adminstrative duties that come with it. Although you may not see Annette’s often, she is always at the office, working in collaboration with staff members and balancing the books. Full of energy and enthusiasm, Annette’s hobbies include reading, walking, gardening, and quilting. When she’s on holidays, she’s jet-setting with Norm to a warm destination.


Allen Palmer believes that a man is not judged by his words but by his actions. He has been in sales and business development for +30 years, with about 25 years in management with card services in the financial industry.  He brings an earned reputation of development and professionalism with client relations, staff management, and for the overall branding of Westmount Store Fixtures.  Outside of work, Allen’s passion has always been soccer and he continues to coach today. Additionally, he enjoys wandering through some of the eclectic local business of Edmonton with his beautiful wife.


Lawrence Scott did not grow up wanting to be in business. Actually he wanted to be a professional hockey player! Lucky for us, Lawrence brings with him over +20 years in the finance industry with a focus on business development and customer service.  He has won numerous awards including repeat member of the Presidents Club and 2011 M.V.P. with his previous employer. Lawrence helps Westmount take the next steps for sustained growth.  He is personable and will go out of his way to ensure that your needs are met with the solution best suited for you. Lawrence has a huge passion for photography and works with the Edmonton Energy and the Sherwood Park Crusaders as their official photographer.


Sandra Rendle has been with Westmount for +10 years, but has been in the retail industry since she was 13 years old. She is excited to see the willingness of each memeber of the team at Westmount to grow the business and welcome new challenges, new clients and new industries. She enjoys the dynamic style of work in getting to deal with all “walks of business”. Sandra brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to Westmount as she understands the side of the retailer as well.  Her unique set of skills and abilities also comes in handy dealing with three daughters, her incredible husband and her adorable (escape-artist) dog.



While Jeremy Palmer was growing up he always knew he wanted to grow up to be… SMART.  Good news for Westmount because that’s exactly what he grew to be, and paired with a great sense of humor, too! His knowledge, skills, and abilities are great assets, notably his Bachelors of Applied Science in Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering and minor in Business Administration from the University of Windsor. As Director of Procurement and Operations at Westmount, he brings strong attention to detail, an understanding of the big picture, and develops great solution designs that become reality. Currently, Jeremy is studying for his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Alberta.




Peter Falkenau always wanted to be a mechanic growing up but instead he came to us! Peter enjoys working at Westmount because every day brings something a little bit different with new experiences and challenges.  Peter brings an unmatched positive energy and a bright smile to whatever he does (and it is completely contagious!). In his spare time, Peter can be found kicking butt on the Raquetball court or lounging on a beach in the Okanagan!
